You Are Not A Failure And An 'Underachieving' Isn't Real And How To Heal From It
In this episode of the Self Loved Woman Podcast, I explore the lesser-discussed experience of living with ADHD without masking symptoms through overachievement or high functionality. I delve into how complex trauma can affect our ability to manage ADHD and acknowledge the unique challenges and paths we each take. I emphasize the importance of self-compassion, challenge the 'underachiever' narrative, and validate the effort we've all put in, given our resources and circumstances. I also discuss the roles of grief, shame, and the need for active mourning, offering support and strategies to help us overcome these feelings, especially for entrepreneurial women with ADHD.
