3 Essential Practices to Stop Scary Times from Exacerbating Your ADHD
In work, I have been noticing a lot of people struggling with the major changes going on in our country and challenges in the world. In this episode, we will acknowledge, validate, and work to understand how this is particularly hard for we ADHD women given our tendency to be highly sensitive, more easily overwhelmed by our emotions and external experiences, and our propensity towards social justice.
Further, we will explore three essential practices to do right now to effectively navigate the challenges surfacing based on world events.
Without this piece, as ADHDers, we may end up more chronically in our protective responses (fight/flight or shutdown), making it nearly impossible to focus and get stuff done with ADHD.
By the end of our time together, you will likely feel seen and validated in your experiences (if you’ve been struggling) and walk away with three essential practices to incorporate to help.
Be sure to listen!
